SEXUAL ISSUES AND PURITY IN OUR NATION:
“Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.”

Pray for a standard of sexuality that is based in God’s Word

Live with a thought life, and self-control

Value others as we hold to the God’s divine design for sexuality in marriage between a man and a women (Matthew 19:4-6; Colossians 3:5; Romans 1:27; 1 Timothy 1:9-10)

Pray for our society that is saturated with a different picture of sexuality than what God designed. More and more, we need teachings and promotion of LGBT ideas but also this cannot exclude of any type of sexuality outside of marriage such as fornication and adultery. Our prayer is that all people will see how God values all people. He cannot love us anymore than He loves us and cannot love us any less than He loves us. The church can reveal that heart to the world extending the truth that is in God’s Word and the grace than God shows to all. As we conform to Him, we break the shackles of sexual actions than miss His best, recovery from abuse, teaching children and youth God’s plan for sexuality according to the Bible, sexual thought life under the Holy Spirit’s guidance, and wholeness that comes when we walk with Him. By using prayer, you can develop a closer relationship with God and receive His strength to stay pure. In this post, we’ll discuss prayers for purity and how they can help you maintain sexual purity. We’ll also provide some tips on how to pray effectively for this purpose. So if you’re ready to get started, keep reading!

WHAT TO PRAY FOR SEXUAL ISSUES
  • Prayer for self-control: Lord, help me to exercise self-control in all areas of my life, including my sexuality. Help me to resist temptation and to honor you with my body.
  • Prayer for wisdom: Lord, give me the wisdom to make wise decisions about my sexuality. Help me to know your will for my life and to follow it.
  • Prayer for strength: Lord, I know that this battle against sexual temptation is not easy. But I am not fighting alone. I ask for your strength to persevere in this fight.
  • Prayer for healing: Lord, I know that sexual purity is possible because you offer forgiveness and healing to all who turn to you. I ask for your forgiveness for any past mistakes and for healing from any hurt or trauma I have experienced. Thank you that you are a God of grace and mercy!
  • Prayer on Woke agenda: Government, athletic and educational agenda to call men women and women men.
  • Prayer for Purity of Heart: Almighty God, help me to keep my heart pure and free from all sinful desires and affections. Create in me a new heart, O Lord, and renew a right Spirit within me. Grant me the grace to mortify every sin and lust that would rise up within me and lead me astray. Help me to live each day for Your glory alone. I ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
  • Lord, our hearts are heavy for those who identify as LGBT. Your Word is clear about both sin and salvation – and our own consciences testify to this truth – yet so many live with the hope that they will find their “true self” or even their worldly salvation in a broken identity.
  • For children who are hearing messages that make them question their own sexuality, we pray for protection over their minds and hearts.
  • For those in ministry to those who have suffered sexual abuse or distortion of values, we pray for the strength to speak the truth in love – and more than anything, to make your Gospel known in the words they say and in the way they live.
