This Sunday, we will continue our tour through the Old Testament Books. We will begin a new section called “The Message of the Major Prophets.” In the book of Isaiah, we find the prophecies of the Savior who could come into the world. Pastor Terry will speak on “The Savior In The Old Testament” in Isaiah 53. Written 700 years before Christ and known as the “Forbidden Chapter” because of the Jewish synagogue’s penchant to skip from Isaiah 52 to Isaiah 54, we find the clearest picture of Christ’s full sacrifice for our salvation. The nature of this prophecy portrays that no other person could have served this role and is worthy of our worship.
